Eligibility:  Players born on or after 4/30/17

 Cost: $100 (includes all 4 sessions) payment can be made by cash, check (made out to Briarcliff Manor Little League) or Zelle at the tryout

This year for 8U we are spreading our tryout over a 4-session clinic which will be led by paid coaches who are former collegiate baseball players and have been hired to help coach the team for this first season. A few volunteer parents will assist but the independent third party coaches will be the sole evaluators and select the team.

Players will be evaluated based on a combination of factors including fielding, hitting, pitching, attitude, listening, knowledge of baseball fundamentals, and commitment. These are closed tryouts. Parents should drop off their child and pick up when tryout is over.

 Players should arrive with the following items: Baseball glove, bat, helmet and water bottle.

Travel baseball is very competitive and is not for everybody. We are looking for kids who want to compete at a higher level and only you can know if this is right for your child.

Those selected for the team will participate in mandatory Winter Workouts at Westchester Turf and Tennis from the end of February through early April, and a full spring travel baseball season in April through June.
